Children's Ministry

Welcome to GLOW Children's Ministry at Forestville Baptist Church in Greenville, SC! Our Mission at Forestville Baptist Church is for children to KNOW Jesus, to GROW in Jesus, and to GLOW for Jesus.

Forestville Baptist Church values and believes in children! Our GLOW children’s ministry serves children 4-years-old through 5th grade and their families. We have Sunday School classes for each age/graded group, Awana (2 Tim. 2:15) - where they learn scripture, Biblical lessons, and play lots of exciting games, Children’s Camp – Centri-Kid LifeWay’s children camp (4th – 6th grade), Summer Day Camp (K5 – 3rd grade), Vacation Bible School, and all kinds of fun activities throughout the year. We seek to provide a place in which children of all ages can learn about God’s love in a way that is developmentally suited to them. Our priority is to create a loving, nurturing environment for our children, as they learn about God through a wide range of activities.

We realize that spiritual foundations are formed at an early age, so we encourage children to learn about Christ at an early age. We do this by providing opportunities for children to get involved and be exposed to Christ’s love. Through their involvement, we seek to enrich the spiritual growth of each child, develop our children into responsible Christians and minister to other needs of children and their families.
