There is a place for everyone in the Music and Worship Ministry!

Whether you sing or play an instrument, you'll find a multitude of opportunities to use your gifts for the Lord at Forestville. If you have children or teenagers in your home, you won't want them to miss out on the incredible opportunities our Music and Worship Ministry has to offer them as well. Forestville is a church of vibrant and authentic worship. Every service is another opportunity to lift God up!

From mission trips to music camps, worship opportunities with guest concert artists and major musical productions, we have creatively developed ways of encouraging you and your entire family to strengthen your musical and worship leadership skills.

Adult Choir: The Forestville Adult Choir is for all worshippers 18+ years of age. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the Music Suite. No audition is required. To ”test drive” the choir and see if God is leading you to join, just come to any regularly scheduled rehearsal and sit in to see what you think. The choir sings at all Sunday morning and evening services as well as at occasional outside events and major seasonal events. Forestville’s annual Easter Production draws thousands from across the Upstate to attend. In 2006, there were over 40 decisions for Christ at this event.

Instrumental Music: The Forestville Praise Band accompanies the regular worship services of Forestville as well as seasonal events and special services. The Praise Band requires an audition. For information, please contact the church office.

Student Music: The Student Music Team of Forestville is made up of many parts. Our students lead worship at all Wednesday evening student services as well as other area events. The student Interpretive Movement Team ministers at many regular services as well as seasonal events at Forestville.  Our students also play major roles in the seasonal music events at Forestville.

Children’s Choirs: The Children’s Choirs of Forestville are age graded groups that rehearse on Sunday evenings during the evening worship service. The Young Children’s division is divided into 2 groups: Age 3 through K-4 and K-5 through 1st grade. The Older Children’s Division is divided into 2 groups: 2nd and 3rd grades and 4th through 6th grades. They sing regularly in the services of FBC as well as presenting a Christmas Musical and singing for various area events. There is no audition required. To be a part of the Forestville Children’s Choirs, come on Sunday evening at 6:30. The children are dismissed to their choirs from the evening worship service.

Easter at Forestville: The Annual Easter Presentation utilizes a cast and crew of over 300 to bring to life the story of Christ in a way seldom seen. To be a part of this exciting ministry event, please contact the church office.

Media Ministry: The Media Ministry at Forestville is a great place to use your gifts for God. Each service requires MANY volunteers to operate cameras, assist with platform set-up, direct and produce the media aspect of the service as well as audio and lighting personnel. The Media Team is led by an exceptional group of folks who have spent years working in the field. The media systems of Forestville have been featured in several industry magazines.
